Leavenworth with Dad

woke up at 6am on Nov 17th to 1 ft of new snow and Dad out in snowblow mode.....when the rider failed him, he got er' done with the walk behind......had a nice trip to Wenatchee for 10am appt and back home ....Harry came over and cleared things up that afternoon.... thanks!!!!!

my trip to Leavenworth

I had a great trip to see Dad. Got a few things tidied up and a tire fixed. I have the marianberries now and they are available to any who want them. I will pot up a bunch of them. Dad got the snow-blower almost ready to go. He said he had a couple of "no big deal" finishing touches.

I had a great visit with Bill in Wenatchee. He took me on a tour of his old neighborhood and stomping grounds. He remembers a time when the hills were undeveloped. I saw some great sites and would love to go back and get some more photos. The geology is on display!!

Dad and I had a great time. We got to witness this centuries' greatest 6th game of the world series!! Had a great dinner at Krystall's with Dennis and the 7th game.

Dad's Burning Bush in the front yard was the star of the show.

Bricklaying with Chad

Here comes my new solar collector. This brick comes from a chimney Chad removed from his home. All I had to do was carry it away. Now Chad is learning to lay brick and I am getting a beautiful new wall!
